I am a fan of Shara Azod and her style of writing. This book took me into a world of drag queens, shifters, gods and goddesses and left me breathless!! Ronin is the Alpha of his pack and the uncrowned coochie king! That is until he scented his mate BUT wait, he's watching a drag queen and he's utterly and adorably confused. Jazz is filling in for her roomie and finds herself pretending to be a man that is pretending to be a woman. Confused yet? Ronin and Jazz made beautiful music together. I enjoyed the story and the sub-characters within. I love the idea of Ronin waiting for his mate and setting. Jazz had all the emotions I would have had. Great short story!
I liked this one a lot. The brief scene between to the gods was great and I hope the author explores this dynamic further. There were enough secondary characters to further the story, which I hope the author does.
I really thought this was going to be a complex and full of plots book after 2 chapters. Apparently the plots are spread out to separate books and so short for the price that I am left annoyed. I'm curious about the other books but after this one, I won't be buying them.
Shara Azod has done it again. I have been a fan of hers for years and she has yet to disappoint. Ronin and Jazz are a couple that was made for each other. I like the way she introduced the other characters as well. I can't wait foe Alphonse's story. I won't share the story line but I must say its worth the purchase. Keep up the excellent writing Shara Azod.
This was a very enjoyable story to read. When it begins with Alphonse and Ronin, wolf shifter best friends, sitting in a drag club, after having been to a male strip club, you have no real idea where this story is going. Throw in a woman, pretending to be a man, who is pretending to be a woman and you have an extremely interesting story. The under story of Eros and Osun is just another plus.
I loved this story! It was a short hot read that kept me entertained from beginning to end and left me wanting more by the time I finished it! I enjoyed Ronin and Jazz they were crazy and funny and the chemistry between them smoking hot! Very good story with a match making best friend and God's thrown into the mix. I really hope that Ms Azod considers doing a follow-up story with Alphonse and finally the two match making God's getting together and admit to their feelings.
Well now, this was a pleasant surprise!!! I am already a fan of Ms. Azod and this book continues to cement her as a skillful, crafty and humorous writer across genres. Very few authors can master paranormal stories the way Ms. Azod has managed to do. The initial encounter of the wolf shifter and his mate was both funny and carnal. The background characters added a bit of humor to the story and enough of their back story to want them to have their own book. Kudos!!
And did I mention the book was carnal and sexy and hot and carnal. Mating never sounded so delicious!!
